Varigate Technologies Inc. is seeking a Carbide Tool & Insert Manager
Location: Calgary, AB, Canada
Varigate Technologies Inc. is an industrial seal and carbide manufacturer and distributor focussing on operations within North America. VTI currently operates 2 divisions, VTI Seal and VTI Carbide. VTI is a fast growing, customer centric organization looking for that experienced leader to help shape and develop our growing Carbide division.
The Carbide Tool & Insert Manager will take on several roles including but not limited to the development of our product lines, vendor management and above all develop and achieve lofty Sales and growth targets. Working alongside ownership, this person will be a key to the success of VTI Carbide.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Developing annual sales budgets, targets and reporting metrics
- Assessing our current customer base and identifying new opportunities
- Acting as a key contact for account and liaises with appropriate personnel to communicate
- Providing leadership and guidance in regard to product line development and marketing
- Developing a sales plan for designated customer targets
- Maintaining accurate customer records as prescribed by the Company.
- Assisting as required in any physical inventory counts (especially any consignment stocks).
- Responsible for achieving sales goals and targets.
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Builds long-term relationships with customer in assigned territory.
- Provides the company with regular status reports on business activities, opportunity development
- Develop a Sales Team plan
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- College diploma or equivalent in relevant field
- 5 years (minimum) experience in sales, development, marketing of Carbide Tools & Inserts
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent customer relations and active listening skills
- Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for selling goods and services
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible working hours
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
